Stories are how we make sense of everything.
I’m Inga Seppala
(née Headland).
I am a creative director and pitch deck designer who helps filmmakers translate ideas into stories that connect.
I am a creative director and writer with more than fifteen years of experience in storytelling and design. My background spans film, television, and brand development, helping creators and companies bring ideas to life through clear, compelling visuals and language.
I founded The Strand, a creative studio focused on narrative strategy and visual storytelling. Today I divide my time between client work, hosting the storytelling series Landline, and building The Perfect Pitch Deck, a training platform that helps filmmakers communicate their stories with confidence.

A Bit More
Landline
A call-in talk show about connection, recovery, and real life.
Landline began as a public-access call-in show and evolved into a hybrid storytelling project about what it means to stay connected in a disconnected world.
Each episode mixes humor, honesty, and everyday human moments. Landline lives on YouTube and Substack, where I share essays, short films, and reflections on creativity and recovery.
Writing
Exploring meaning through modern storytelling.
My writing focuses on creativity, faith, and the search for meaning. I am currently developing How to Plan a Funeral, a memoir told through essays on grief, humor, and spiritual growth.
The series combines cultural commentary, personal narrative, and the craft of storytelling, written for readers who want depth with levity.
